On 11.05.2009 I had a chance to see the Japanese-Australian band "GPKISM" in the local "Hellraiser" club. Some pictures can be found here.

On 24.04.2009 I attended a death-metal festival here in Leipzig and its name was "Heavy metal: nix im Scheddel..?" It was really cool to see such bands like "September Murder", "Invocation" and especially "Illdisposed" live, but unfortunately I couldn't stay for the headliner's set ("Origin"), because the crowd was already pretty wild and out of control. You know it's pretty much impossible to make a photo-shooting while stage-diving and beer fountains here and there! No complains though, it was the real heavy metal show and it would be stupid for a photographer to expect a quiet evening :) So... here it comes: "September Murder" , "Invocation" , "Illdisposed" ...

"Nightwish", "Pain" & "Indica" in Erfurt |

I would like to thank from all my heart to "Contra Promotion" and ThyDoom for the great evening I had at the "Nightwish" show in Erfurt on March 21th. An all-girls band "Indica" and the veterans "Pain" supported the glorious headliner on this tour, so it was the real fun to work there! The galleries can be found here, here and finally here.

 Last Monday Liv Kristine, Mathias Röderer and Seven Antonopolous of "LEAVES' EYES" came to Leipzig to play one of seven unplugged gigs planned for the promo-tour for their new-released DVD "We Came With The Northern Winds". It was a nice and very warm little gig, the band performed 4 songs: "Legend Land", "Leaves' Eyes", "Scarborough Fair" (a cover-song by "SIMON & GARFUNKEL", it will appear on the next "LE" album!) and "For Amelie".Then it was a signing session, talking with the fans and so on. Thanks to the very kind band's security I was allowed to shoot as many pictures as I wanted. Here you can find some of them... |

Today I start a new section - "Articles / Reviews" - where I will publish some of my concert reviews and music articles (in Russian, sorry). Two reviews are already there: NIGHTWISH in Leipzig, Germany - 23.02.2008 and UNTOTEN in Glauchau, Germany - 11.04.2008. |

Finally I can upload some pictures I made at the "Hellhounds Festival" in Leipzig on 12.02.2009. The main acts were the Helsinki Vampires "The 69 Eyes" and of course "Tiamat". Both were just great!
